I actually called HP before buying, it will max out at 16GB ram which I plan to do soon

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Typical use results in around 4hours of batt life. Memory goes up to 16GB dual channel. I suggest while you have it apart ( kind of a pain) upgrade to SSD which wil help with battery life also.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It last around 4 hours doing normal stuff and about 1 hour gaming. This is going by the reviews and research I have done. Also I know for a fact it has 2 slots so yes you can upgrade the memory.
