• Absolutely. I am in college and it's perfect for schoolwork. I also check my social media on it. I do research on the internet for school projects and it is really durable. It is small so it fits into backpacks easily and easy to setup and use. I would suggest getting the 3 year warranty with Geek Squad. I love my laptop. I haven't had any issues with it and I have had it since October.

• Yes it is good to surf the internet, watch cat videos, do search and homework. Google Docs work well. As long as most of the processing is on the server side and not on the laptop, it works well.
