The specs specifically say "No" as to whether the tip is replaceable and I have had AWFUL luck dealing with Best Buy and HP online. HP seemed surprised that I'd want to be able to buy the actual stylus that was supposed to come with my new Spectre and said "If you'd have ordered with us, it's included"...LOTS of help that is. I asked how to buy it on its own and they gave me ones that were not this model. I said "I want the EXACT one it was supposed to come with" and they said even they didn't have it. I'm raging. You put out a product, you put out everything it needs at once and do not allow stores to sell versions missing key pieces or at least sell them separately. It's taken months for them to post this one and it's still not the one included with the late-2017 model.

Please try again later.The tips are replaceable (I pulled the tip on mine out to test), but HP hasn't released any information as to how to order a replacement, or even if they will offer replacements. I contacted HP Support about how to purchase replacement tips, and they wanted to start a support ticket to replace a defective product.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's supposed to be able to recognise over a thousand levels of pressure but IT DOESN'T WORK except with the Microsoft InkSpace stuff. You can't use it with Corel because there is NO PRESSURE SENSITIVITY RECOGNITION with other software. You can't program it using the control panel because it just doesn't do what it's supposed to. (IE you should be able to set up the pen so that when you click one of the buttons (either the shaft or end button) it will open an app. Doesn't work. At all. Run away. Seriously. There is scant information about this pen. Big Online Store Starting with A doesn't have it in stock. HP (from whom I purchased it a week ago) now shows it as Out of Stock. I believe the pen is in the process of a silent recall because it JUST DOESN'T WORK. Run away!
