• Yes, the stylus will work on your HP ENVY laptop. I know because I have the same laptop and the stylus is compatible.

• Maxi, the HP-Tilt Stylus Pen only works with systems that have a digitizer screen, like the HP Spectre x360. It is an "active stylus". It will not work at all with a touch screen, like the one you have. HP Support page:https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05166879
