- Answer There are different answers to the RAM expansion question. My research indicates that while HP tested the unit up to 16GB total RAM, it can actually work with up to 64GB. Please note, however, that I personally have not tested it to that amount.

- Answer No question about battery life can be adequately addressed without knowing the exact circumstances under which it was tested: condition of battery, other programs running (including WiFi and Ethernet), screen brightness, etc. Advise you search for reviews by accepted companies (Consumer Reports, etc.) that will provide the exact circumstances under which testing was accomplished.

- Answer Thank you for your question about this HP Victus gaming laptop! I am sorry to hear about the brightness issues that you are having. There are multiple ways to adjust the brightness. If that is not satisfactory, you can return it if it is within the returns period or have Geek Squad look into the issue. HP's factory warranty is one year and Best Buy stores are authorized HP Service Centers, so they can do warranty work.

- Answer There are actually two basic versions of Outlook (not counting the various ones that are issued every few years or so): the original (usually purchased as part of Office) and the "new" version, which is now part of Windows Operating System. This comes with the "new" version, and you can add the "Office" version, if you want.
