“I am not a gamer at all. But I like the specs of this computer. Is there any reason I should be concerned with buying a gaming laptop but will use it with other programs like Word and Excel and to play videos online?”

It might generate more heat and use a little more power than because of the graphics card, but other than that, no real concerns for using this laptop for something besides gaming. Gaming models just tend to have a GPU and software that helps show temperature, fans, GPU performance, CPU performance and often light controls for the keyboard. Great features to have in general on a Desktop or a Laptop that can you keep an eye on how the unit is doing.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No need for concern, the “gaming” label is mostly because games often require a video card/gpu and more ram than may be required for other tasks, this computer has a very nice price point and will work perfectly fine for office tasks and multimedia
