QuestionHow deep can I take this device while scuba diving?

- Answer One meter for thirty minutes in salt/fresh water (IPX7). If you buy the waterproof cap it will last for 120 minutes in three meters of fresh/salt water (IPX8). I have not tested this, and this is the information I read in the manual. More information can be found at: http://www.htc.com/us/support/re/

- Answer no it does not. It includes the home charger, for wall mount and usb charging. Also comes with an end cap and small wrist lanyard to cover the end cap where the usb charge port for protection. All of the other accessories have to be bought separately. They were recently 50% off all accessories so you might be able to catch them on sale as well. I got the camera itself on black Friday for half off $100 total. Great deal highly recommend the camera and accessories are high quality

- Answer Yes, but the length of time is limited compared to regular video cameras. Still the quality of the video is good but I have not taken too many videos compared to the photos I use it for.

- Answer No phone needed, but to see what you are taking a photo of beyond aiming the camera, the free download app to your smart phone is recommended. Once you connect to a wireless connection, you can see what you are taking a photo or video of for adjustment and for adequate selfie use from a distance when the camera is stationary.

QuestionCan you record video without having to hold it ?I'm looking to get one of these for my Kayak. I was wondering if you can turn the video record on and then set it down and let it record you while fishing etc ? ?

- Answer Yes. Once the sensor button is pressed to video it will continue recording until it's stopped

- Answer Yes and no. You have to buy another kit to go to certain lengths underwater. They aren't very clear about that in the item description or in the manual that comes with the device

- Answer Can take video up to 90 mins and take over 1,200 photos before a fully charged camera is drained. Car mount is good for using the camera as dash cam. Record traffic condition and what you see through the windshield
