Worked and Works in India as its GSM international unlocked. Dont know about Russian language. I believe i did see Russian language.

Yes. The MTS mobile network operates using the GSM standard. The Honor 5X variant for the US is Model KIW - L24. This model is unlocked for US (GSM) networks. Please check with your local carrier to see if the Honor 5X supports the frequency bands in your country.
