A:AnswerThe phone is unlocked and works with T-mobile. I personally have the combination.
You payment is based on the line of service you have with your carrier. If you have a Pre-Paid SIM card, put that in and it will work just as much as a Post-Paid plan. The limitations are on your service plan, not the phone.

A:AnswerThe FCC made at&t add band 12, it runs in the same 700 mghz space as band 17. I currently have the honor 6x and I'm on at&t. My area has the 17 band and my 6x is running on 12, same speed and coverage as if I was on 17. There are tons of articles on it. So long story short, the phone works great in band 17 areas.

A:AnswerYes, straight out of the box the first thing my phone did was load the Nougat (Android 7.0). Also after some research on the Internet I've seen that Huawei is planning on pushing Android Oreo 8.0 to the phone by the end of 2017.
