Yes, Apple limits the functionality of non-apple smartwatches. See an article like http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2015/09/android-wear-on-ios-a-hobbled-google-centric-smartwatch-experience/ for a detailed description of the kind of limitations you can expect.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes there is limited functionality with all Android wear smartwatches being used with iphone. You will not be able to make or add custom watch faces, you will not be allowed to interact with notificatons through the watch. IOS only alows notifications to be pushed to the watch. Its not the watches fault, its Apples. Their closed source ecosystem limits functonality for non apple products

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.seems to work well with my iphone without any restrictions so far . of course it would probably work better with an Android but i havent tried it yet . i had to download the Android Wear app . be sure to keep the App running on your iphone and you should be good to go . functionality , looks and easy of use make it an excellent smartwatch . i like the round face and it does not have the flat tire like the moto 360 .
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This works with iOS 8.2 or later.
