QuestionEarlier someone asked if this watch was waterproof. The Customer Care Rep said no it is not but others said it was water resistant. Would someone please clarify? Thanks in advance.

The Huawei Watch has an IP67 water and dust resistance rating, meaning that you can use it when washing your hands, cooking, washing your car, or when it is raining. QuestionDoes this watch display switch off like Apple watch or can be continuously on ?

- Answer It is so much better than the apple watch...THere is a continuous display on mode that displays information and time and customizable for different watch faces...In addition there is a theatre mode which you can turn on to completely switch the display off if you are in a movie theatre and want it totally dark.

- Answer Yes, this watch does receive full text and you can respond using google voice. It is incredibly accurate and very easy to use. This watch is extremely user friendly.

- Answer From what I have read and understand is that the full functionality will only be supported by having an android phone . having an IOS phone Will limit what the watch can do. Such as: * You will not be able to download apps from the Apple store..the watch is running Android Ware. *You will get text messages but may not be able to fully respond to them via the watch. *Phone calls will be limited to letting you know there is one but you will not be able to use the watch to respond. If it were me, I would wait until these 2 giants play a little nicer in the sand box with each other.

QuestionIs it possible to disable the heart rate monitor on this? I would like the step counter but I don't need or want the heart rate monitor. It's tough finding a nice smart watch without one and that's really the only thing holding me back on this watch.

- Answer Yes, of course. You will close out of the heart rate monitor app and turn off 'Auto Measure' for it to not calculate your HR data. Keep the step counter app open to allow it to continue to track your steps. (NS)

- Answer Any band. I'm currently using a silver stainless steel stretch band. But have also used a dress leather on it. All standard watch bands I already have that I have used on regular watches in the past

- Answer Yes you can open and reply to emails with Android Wear 2.0. the watch ships with Android Wear 1.0 out of the box so be sure before you go around exploring to update to Android Wear 2.0 as it was a MASSIVE overall. You can also reply to text messages and Facebook messenger

QuestionEver since I did that new update on my Samsung note 5 (naugat or something like that) im not able to read my text messages and sometimes I just feel the watch vibrate but says I have 0 notifications when i did receive a text. Can someone please help me

- Answer I also had this issue when I did a force update on the watch. To fix this issue, perform a factory reset on the watch. Don't forget to remove it from your android wear app also.

- Answer Depends on how you use it, which functions you run, and whether you turn the screen completely off or put it in stealth mode (where you see just the hands and hour markers, dimmed). My dad says that he gets almost 2 days on a single charge. Now, he doesn't use it for music or google maps, but he does play with it throughout the day. So I would say one could easily go 1 full day on a charge.

- Answer The Watch uses Android Wear 2.0 so yes this is a Google Watch. Android Wear 2.0 is the operating system on the device. You do not need a phone to operate. You may be more interested in a Tizen OS watch from Samsung, but good luck trying to get away from Google
