From what I have read and understand is that the full functionality will only be supported by having an android phone . having an IOS phone Will limit what the watch can do. Such as: * You will not be able to download apps from the Apple store..the watch is running Android Ware. *You will get text messages but may not be able to fully respond to them via the watch. *Phone calls will be limited to letting you know there is one but you will not be able to use the watch to respond. For more detailed info and what is in the future for these 2 dismilar products being kinda unified in the future , ref the following link: http://www.cnet.com/how-to/how-android-wear-works-with-ios-what-you-need-to-know-faq/ Hope this helps in your decision. If it were me, I would wait until these 2 giants play a little nicer in the sand box with each other.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have an iPhone, to get the best smart watch your best bet is to get an Apple watch. With an Android Wear watch on an iPhone you cripple the watch so it will connect via Bluetooth but you will only be able to view things and not able to reply to anything. The device will work at like 50% of what it can do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Using with iOS, I do not have the ability to use any watch apps. You can only get notifications (not respond) and there's no android fit iOS app or a way to get that info somewhere else.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.IOS refers to Apple's operating system.
