I also had this issue when I did a force update on the watch. To fix this issue, perform a factory reset on the watch. Don't forget to remove it from your android wear app also.

Check the following: 1. Your watch is paired with a phone over Bluetooth. When your watch is disconnected from the phone, your watch will not receive any notifications for incoming calls or SMS messages. 2. The Android Wear app is running properly on the phone. >Ensure that the Android Wear app is protected in the background, so that the app can stay running even when the phone screen is turned off. If the Android Wear app is closed, you will not receive notifications on your watch. >If the phone has a third-party phone manager app installed, make sure the Android Wear app is protected in the background. 3. Notification permissions for related applications are enabled on the phone. Such applications are not blocked in the Android Wear app. >Go to the phone settings and check whether the notification permissions for related applications are disabled. Make sure you haven't turned off notifications for specific apps: > On your phone, open the Android Wear app. >Tap the Settings icon. >Choose Block app notifications. >You will see a list of the apps that are muted. >To allow notifications, touch the bell next to the app's name, and it will be removed from the list. 5. The time is verified before a notification card is pushed to your watch. If the time on your phone is later than your watch time, notifications will not be pushed to your watch. To avoid this issue, it is recommended that you synchronize the time between your phone and watch. 6. If the Android Wear app displays the "Notifications Stopped Syncing" message, make sure the Android Wear app is set as a protected app in the background, and then restart your phone. If none of the steps detailed above solves the issue, please restart your watch. If the issue persist, please get in touch with us, one of our representatives will happily assist you.
