As long as the device has blue tooth, it will be blessed to connect to his phone

as long as you use the android wear app on an android phone and it's paired carrier should not matter

Yes the phone is connected to bluetooth and not to a specific carrier. as long as the android/ios version is appropriate, the phone sync isnt a problem.
