• 100% It charges has 2 usb ports a sd port a few other ports that are used as outputs

• I use this on my MacBook Air 2020 and am able to charge it while its plugged in. I also have used multiple external devices with it including external hard drive, portable scanner, and my SuperDrive 8x External USB Double-Layer DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive
