• A:Answer Yes, although It will cover both the Magsafe port and the headphone jack. I would probably recommend using a cabled duel Thunderbolt adapter instead of one that mounts on the side of the laptop.

• A:Answer It plugs into your Macbook with USB C, but has two USB 2 (or 3) ports, which I found to be unusable because I need to use two hands to pull them out, and even then it's VERY difficult. I'm returning it, I don't recommend it.
