“I have a 6-port docking station and it will not stay tight enough in my Apple laptop to run anything plugged into it. It was working. Nothing has changed. Best Buy tested it for me and said the drive is in working order. How do I fix this problem?”

If the 6port drive is working, then it’s probably the port on your laptop. Have you tried another port on the laptop? I know with the thing that I got, it’s got a pigtail adaptor as well. But sometimes from repeatedly plugging things into the same port over and over, they wear out or break.
