• A:Answer The mic is detachable, and there is no inline control for muting or adjusting volume. If there's some way to mute the mic, other than pulling it out of the socket, I haven't discovered that yet. I guess the benefit is you can use them for listening to music, without looking like a nerd.

• A:Answer The headphones come with two options for connecting to your device. You can either use a single 3.5mm jack, or two 3.5mm jacks (one for the mic, the other for the headphones). If your device has 3.5mm. jacks, it should work.

• A:Answer Yes you can buy new microphones. A friends dog ate ours and we were able to replace without replacing the entire headphone set.
