Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They are wired only. While they do have an internal battery and all wires can be disconnected. This is purely for versatility to multiple platforms, and to amp the speakers in the headset. Hyper X based the headset off a headset called Audeze Mobius. Almost identical, and is wireless but will cost you ~$400.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They're odd. The battery holds a 10 hour charge. But the headphones need to be plugged in via 3.5 mm cable on console/phones to recieve sound. On PC, the usb cable provides sound. So really, they're wired as they always have to be connected to something to receive sound. The only reason why the battery exists is because the usb cables provided aren't long enough to reach the consoles ina living room setting. Maybe if you have them at a desk or sit really close like you would at a PC. Hope that helps.
