I have 4 games and out of room already on the ssd. can i replace it with a 500gb ssd buy just taking off the cables and putting them on the new ssd? I also dont care about cloning but not sure if that way is possible because of windows? null

No the operating software is on the SSD you most clone it or add another with more cables.

Hello! 
You may switch to a 500GB SSD as well as changing the SATA cable to SATA III. Please be aware the OS is installed onto the SSD. You will have to use the disks provided with the system for reinstallation. However, keep in mind that any modification to the system does void the iBuyPower warranty. Thank you for your question!
