“Why when I put my mic it doesn’t recognized it I’ve updated my driver and everything it doesn’t work I can hear audio from my headset but can’t takk do I need a splitter or something cause I’ve tried everything”

Please make sure your microphone is turned on under Settings also try a different microphone if you can borrow one to try and lastly I hope you plugged into the correct port. Some head sets you have to push a key on your keyboard to be able to talk. This prevents others from hearing all the background noise near your microphone when you are not talking.
