“I've read a lot about these online having some issues coming from the manufacture. Has anyone had any major issues with their desktop with the wiring or parts not being connected when they received it. I am a noob at this stuff.”

The only comment I have is that you must remember to plug in the USB WiFi Dongle that comes with the computer - as that allows the computer to interface with your LAN and the internet. Once the dongle is plugged in and you connect to the WiFi you're using, everything else downloaded seamlessly. If you're a "noob" the term dongle can be confusing - but it's just a small little USB plug-in device that comes in it's own bag inside the computer box when you buy it. Forget to install the dongle and you're dead in the water. You do have to remove the glass side panel and remove the special jar-proof packaging that supports the hard drive for shipping (which is a great thing), but that only takes about 30 seconds and then you're ready to plug in and turn on.

I also do not like not having a CD drive built in but I can get around that. It has a lot of usb ports to hook lots in and seems fast enough to run World of Warcraft. I also like having internet security from start but Geek Squad set me up before I left upon receiving and having this one checked out before bringing home.If you get from Best Buy have them check it out first before taking home. Also don't expect much help from support for the company IBUYPOWER. They were literally useless in helping me as to why my first one didn't work. Basically they said take back to Best Buy. They wanted me to start unplugging ram and video cards. I am not doing that stuff without static grounds for sure.

Please try again later.when I got the trace930 the 1,199 price one my graphics card wasn't even installed and the screw for it was missing of course and then playing the games kept crashing so I brought it back and exchanged for the trace931 which is 1,699 and it came in mint condition and I didnt have one problem with it so yeah I did and I think its hit or miss you really never know till you open up the box and see and then run it hey any mishaps bring It back and just exchange it though. but the computer honestly works amazing

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just got mine from BB. No issues what so ever. Not to mention if you buy from B.B. and there is an issue take it back. But I’ve been using the Trace 931 for about 3 weeks love it. And now it’s 1499$. Worth the money you won’t be sorry.
