Hey BryGuyy, You are correct. There are slight differences between the Z370 PRO4-IB and the Z370 PRO4. As long as the new RTX use PCI-E as a means of utilizing the graphics card, there should be no problem upgrading to the RTX 2080. Keep in mind the wattage these new cards consume and double check to see if your PSU is capable of operating the new video card.
