Yes, just let it render, and you’ll have a smooth playback, also could view your preview at 1/4 quality and without rendering it plays nicely. If you overclock you probably don’t have to render at all, I haven’t tried it yet

Heey Spelberg, Editing in 4k alone is a very rigorous process. Though this unit is able to handle the editing, it will not change the fact that the task alone is very resource intensive. But this unit has excellent specs. We would not recommend anything less than an Intel i7 for 4k editing.
