  • QuestionHow to pair

    Asked by John.

    • Answer • Place your audio device in Bluetooth mode (often found in the device’s Settings or Tools menu) and make it “discoverable” • Press and hold the Power ON/OFF Button for 2 seconds to turn on the iBT371 speaker. The first time unit is powered on it will enter auto pairing mode. The LEDs will flash blue and red, a tone will sound as the speaker attempts to pair with a Bluetooth device. • Select “iHome iBT371” on your device’s Bluetooth menu to pair. If your device asks for a passcode, enter ‘1234’. • For manual pairing, power on speaker, then press and hold the Play/Pause/Pairing//Speakerphone Button for 2 seconds. • Once paired, the light will glow solid blue and a confirmation tone will sound. You can then stream audio to the speaker. If pairing is not successful, turn the power off on the speaker and repeat pairing procedure. • To listen to Bluetooth audio, put your connected device in play mode. Press the Play/Pause/Pairing//Speakerphone Button on the speaker to cycle between play and pause modes. • Press Volume Up or Down buttons to control audio levels. Control track navigation from your device. Remember to turn off the speaker (press and hold the Power ON/OFF Button for 5 seconds) and your device after listening. NOTE: When unit is charging, the blue light will appear solid red. Click the link to save the user manual https://cdn.ihomeaudio.com/media/product/files/iBT371_User_Manual.pdf

  • QuestionMy TV does not support bluetooth. What can I connect to my TV audio out to link up this IBT371LBC speaker? I bought an Aluratek model ABC02F universal bluetooth audio receiver and transmitter. I cannot get the two devices to pair up. Thanks in advance.

    Asked by Garyj.

    • Answer No. This unit was manufactured to work with mobile devices such as phones and tablets. You need a soundbar (not portable speakers) to amplify the speakers on your television. Best Regards, iHome Support https://www.ihomeaudio.com/support/
