• A:Answer Even though loudness depends on the receptor, I wouldn't say it has a very loud alarm, it is average. However, the high pitch sound that produces its very annoying in the mornings and it works for me. If its close to you (ex. nightstand) it should work.

• A:Answer Hi Melly, Alarms must be set on the unit itself. This unit features a 7-5-2 alarm which means you can set an alarm for 7 (every day), 5 (weekdays) or 2 (weekend only). The 5 day workweek alarm is Monday through Friday.
