QuestionIf you use the line out to hook up a better speaker will it play the music as well as the microphone? I’m trying to do this and I can not hear the microphone through the better speaker. The speaker on the unit crackles a lot when singing not soft.

- Answer This model has 2 standard microphone inputs, but only includes 1 microphone. If you have an additional microphone with a standard "plug", you can use that as the second microphone or you can just buy the "deluxe" version of this item at Best Buy (it costs more, since it's the deluxe version, but it comes with 2 microphones). Just search for: iHome - Sound Factory Bluetooth Deluxe Karaoke.

- Answer You can record from the Mic and select the Aux mode. If you don’t have anything playing from the AUX input you will record only from the mic to the USB drive.
