Is this cover fabric on top of plastic? null

yes it is . snaps on real tight . no problem at all.

That’s what it feels like. Not sure how it’s manufactured but it’s like slipping a hard shell on you Mac Air that gives it a textured canvas on the outside. I like it because the fabric/canvas texture is not slippery and it looks cool too.

I do not know. Didn't want to mar the product by peeling back the fabric. But it's sturdy and flexible enough to snap onto the computer, so likely plastic base.
