This item charges on a wall and will charge your devices on the go.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You are correct. The purpose is to charge the device and carry it with you. When your phone runs low on power this device can charge your phone. I do not believe the device can charge it to 100% (without being plugged in) but it can give you more power until you can get your phone charged.
