QuestionHow does it connect to the desktop? Or is it a wall plug?

- Answer This is a wall plug only... If you have a laptop see if its USB port charges devices. Most newer computers have at least one USB that will be powered.

QuestionHow long is the wire? Is there a transformer on the ac cord, or on the plug at outlet, or is it built in? To the manufacturer, please do a better job describing this product!

- Answer Its about 36" long. No transformer. It has a standard USB connector on one end and a micro USB connector on the other.

QuestionIf this plugs into the wall - is it a 2-prong or 3-prong plug? And... Is it a "universal" global (100-220v 50/60hz) rated device? It sure would be good to see a photo of the WHOLE unit including the cord and the plug, along with regulatory info.
