I have one of these & how it works is you program Cable TV (for example) to HDMI 1, Blu-ray Player or PSP to HDMI 2 and Apple TV or any other HDMI Device to HDMI 3. You can change what device you use for which HDMI input at any time easily with the included Roku remote. I hope this provides the "Yes" answer to your question.
