• Go to the local pound. I'm sure you could trade them in for one already trained, and I'm sure your dog will find a nice new home. On a farm somewhere. Nudge-nudge, wink-wink.

• I would suggest contacting the manufacturer. Maybe search eBay for someone who's dog knocked over the TV and they are selling the remote:-) Good luck.

• You could simply buy a universal remote or go on Best Buy's/Ebay's website and purchase a replacement remote.
