Yes, they come off with ease. I did, I placed some rubber pads in their place to keep it from moving or scuffing the carpet.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you are buying new, the casters come in the box - you have to put them on. So don't put them on and it will stand on the floor just fine. If you have already installed casters, you can take them off. Will take some pulling & prying so be careful as they are plastic.
