This happen to me also, what you need to do is put the Shredder outside so it will cool down more quicker then just leaving it in your home. Once the Shredder is all cooled down, it will operate again. You must however, unplug the Shredder, otherwise, it will not cool down.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Reinsert paper to be shredded. Also run it backwards to free any build up.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most likely the cutters are jammed and the internal on/off sensor that turns the machine on is obstructed. Try unplugging it, remove the basket and lay the machine on a flat surface with the basket opening facing up. Use a pair of needle nosed pliers and long handled tweezers to clear out the cutters. This make take quite a while if it is really jammed up. I had an different band shredder that did this. I found that plastic mailing envelope I had tried to shred was not cut up and jammed the cutters. Once I cleared them, the cutters worked but the auto-on sensor would not work, so I had to start and stop it manually. I should have read the instructions that said not to try and shred this kind of stuff.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Be sure the basket that the shreds go into is fully inserted into the shredder. I have noticed that this issue will stop the shredder from working.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure your unit has the paper tray firmly in place. that has happened to me before and the tray was just a tiny bit out of the unit. I love this shredder.
