• When the wastebasket is 2/3 full, slide the switch to OFF, unplug it from the power outlet, pull to remove and empty the wastebasket.

• The lower half of the shredder has a canister that easily glides forward To remove and dump in the trash/recycling. The canister is just as easy to put back in place.
