• Yes wheels are inside. I just had to slowly move the top the first time. Make sure unit is turned off.

• The top doesn’t come off. The front basket pulls out and the wheels are inside.

• You don't remove the top, you just slide the bottom tray and empty it out, and their is no wheels.
