Does it charge through a hard case of the phone? null

I have to take mine out of my wallet case in order for it to charge.

It charges my iPhone 12 Pro Max with an Otterbox Symmetry case on it.

Works on my galaxy note 20g with otter box case

Yes, I have a otterbox case on my iPhone XR and it works perfectly.

Thin cases yes—thick ones or ones with RFD in the case-NO!

I have an android phone and it charges thru the case on it.

I have a case that is about 5mm thickness and it charges my iphone without any issues. The case is pretty hard (i-Blason Armorbox), but it is no more than 5 mm. If yours is similar - it will charge well.

I think that depends on the case. If you have a case that allows contact charging, it will work.
