The delivery includes set up and removal of packaging so you won't have to deal with recycling that. It took my guy about two minutes or less to set up but he didn't remove the inside tape, plastic shelf covers and ice tray. It took less about 2 hours to get cold enough to use. Keep in mind you'll need to clean the fridge before using it because it has a heavy chemical smell and the instructions say to.
