So, for example, if you set it to 36°F and later change it to 45°F, the display will immediately show 45°F, regardless of the current internal temperature. There is no built-in sensor readout for the real-time internal temperature on the display. If you want to monitor the actual temperature inside, you can use a separate fridge thermometer placed inside the cooler.
