• Wire gauge is not provided but the shielding is at least very thick. It’s about 1/4” in diameter.

• I don't know what gage they are or how heavy Nakamichi cable is but these were thicker than the cables that came with my car stereo kit. Unless you plan on running a lot of current through them though, what does the wire gage matter? Running cables under a floor shouldn't require a heavier gage cable. You might need more insulation though if by running under floor, you mean under carpet. These are very well insulated.
