Q: QuestionCan any of your single or 2 burners stove tops be inserted in countertop
Asked by Jjb.
- A:Answer It is a countertop unit. Ventilation openings are on the sides and would be blocked if you recessed it into a countertop. Think of it as an extra burner that can be used anywhere there is power.

Q: QuestionWhat type of Connection is needed for this?
Asked by KCBASS.
- A:Answer I assume your question means what electrical connection is needed. The Insignia NS-IC1ZPBK0 cooktop set requires an electrical power input of 120Vac, 60Hz, 15A minimum. Obviously, this means it must be the only appliance operating on a 15 Amp circuit at a time.

Q: QuestionWhat is the diameter of the heating element/heating zone?
Asked by Nebulus.
- A:Answer Notice how the Insignia rep didn't actually answer the question, referring only to the size of the "cooking zone" instead?? Since the Insignia cooktop manual claims it can use 5.5"-8.3" cookware, it's likely that the induction element is less than 5.5", as I don't think you want an induction element larger than the pan/pot you're using. I don't have this unit, but am familiar with other similar units.
