A:Answer Yes, just connect 12Vdc to the power wire and ground, or common to the GND wire.
Each of the four wires has a specific purpose. 12V for power input; tach pulses to measure speed output; a PWM speed control input; and GND common to all the other.
So, in your situation, you'll only use two wires, and two will not be used.
