is this fan quiet null

I don't know. It is about an quarter inch thicker than the entire bottom of my Lenovo. I am planning on a new chip-set upgrade with the clearance price set I bought from BB, then rebuilding a new bottom around the new fan. Any advice would be appreciated and I can let you know in a week or so if the fan works correctly. Otherwise, I may return it for a refund.

It's pretty darn quiet. The only problem is that I bought 2 of them and one of them rattles a bit. It's really only noticeable if you are focusing on it.

Extremely so. When I first installed two in my case I had to tear it apart to make sure they were running.

The noise is quite low 22dB.
