Garage‑Ready Convertible Upright Freezer, the touchpad or number‑pad lights on the door are designed to turn off automatically when the door is closed. This is a normal energy‑saving feature. When you open the door, the control panel wakes up and the blue lights turn back on so you can see and use the controls. This behavior does not indicate a malfunction. Poojitha | Insignia

Garage‑Ready Convertible Upright Freezer between refrigerator and freezer modes, unlock the control panel by pressing and holding Lock for three seconds, then press and hold the Freezer/Fridge button for three seconds until the unit beeps and the indicator light changes to the new mode.
