A:AnswerNot sure about the dimensions of the box however, Mine was delivered upside down. I checked and if you set it upright and leave it for at least 24 hours before you plug it in the unit should be fine. The reason for not plugging it in is to allow the oil to travel back into the compressor before starting it up. Plugging it in too soon can cause damage to the compressor.
