  • QuestionI have a 14.0 cubic foot insignia freezer and it works well but is very frosty and eventually lifts the lid off. We lost our key but think the key would help hold it down. Where can we get a new lock key for this unit.

    • Answer if it's that frosty its lifting the lid, may need to defrost and set it lower? Mine is set at 4 1/2 and its in a garage and full of food and everything is frozen just fine. As far as getting a new key its a simple latch lock and you can probably open and close it with a small allen wrench. I never even put the latch on mine and don't use the key, no intention to ever lock it.if you really need a key maybe the insignia website?
