“I have the insignia 17 cub ft freezer for about two weeks. Opening the door is a total struggle. It almost takes two people to open it one to hold the freezer in place and the other to yank the door open. Is there anybody who is experiencing the same ?”

I finally got through to Best Buy after numerous times of being routed to the wrong people. I was hooked up with a manager who within two minutes set up an exchange for me within the next 3 days. I agreed and was very pleased. Just goes to show you that you have to be lucky enough to get a compassionate person who will listen to you and do the right thing.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven’t had any problems and I’ve had mine for about the same as you. Maybe you have some condensation on the seal and it is freezing shut. Cleaning the seal or using just a small amount of Vaseline on the rubber seal all the way around may help.
