A:AnswerThe temperature settings allow multi functionality for this item. You can set the temperature to flash freeze, uses as a freezer or use as a refrigerator. It is not like a typical fridge/freezer combo where the top portion is a freezer and the rest is a fridge. The entire unit will be as you set the temp. The manufacturer recommends 0 degrees for a freezer setting and that is how I have mine set. The inside I has great shelving and in door shelves. It is easy to store shredded cheeses, frozen fruit and veggies and all kinds of other freezeable items like flour, yeast, ricotta cheese, cream cheese, bacon, frozen puff pastry and phyllo dough, pizza dough, pre made cookie dough and of course, meat and fish. I love it!!!! It is well worth the $$$.
