A beep sounds when the MAX or MIN temperatures are reached. The default temperature is 0° F (-18° C). The temperature range of Freezer mode is 10° F ~ -11° F (-12° C~ -24° C). QuestionWhat happens to this freezer if there is a power outage at our house? Does the freezer turn back on automatically when the power is restored or does the freezer have to be manually restarted?

- Answer We just bought our freezer, but based upon past freezers we have owned, the unit will just restart, just like your refrigerator. There is nothing else to do. So I presume that, like my past freezers, you do nothing. It will start up automatically once the power comes back on.
