A:AnswerOn the left side of the unit is controls also after you hooked the unit ip to TV you could go through TVs menu to change the audio sound setting
The unit either has the old RCA plugs or the headphone jack
A:AnswerYes. You have to buy the audio optical cable separately, but the Insignia is set up for use with an optical cable. I was able to sync my Comcast remote with the soundbar, but I have not yet figured out how to sync it to both TV and soundbar at the same time.
A:AnswerI know it will go off if it doesn't receive any inputs.
Otherwise, I have not experienced that issue.
Perhaps its defective if it shuts off during use.
A:AnswerDid you return yours? The one i purchased was used and the power cord was missing. I took it back to clackamas best buy but they refused to give me a new set. the guy at the door said there was nothing wrong with the speaker and said it wasnt used. he refused to exchange it. However he did pull the power cord out of another box. I had the receipt showing i had must purchased it 2 days before. This is the 3rd time in a year that i purchased something from clackamas best buy that was not new. I Will Never Step Foot Into That Best Buy Again.
A:AnswerThe only time it shuts down is if your tv is on a sleep timer or after the the end of a movie while watching Netflix or one of those movie streaming services.
